ISO

ISO stands for international standards organisation. It issues international standards against which the business, or site, can be measured by accredited auditors, thereby satisfying the business' customers and the general public that certain critera and standards are being met.

Various ISO standards exist – examples of these include ISO standards for the environment and for quality management.
