Preparation
Use 100 g of powder and 1L of cold milk. Blend sauce powder to a paste with a little of the milk. Bring the remaining milk to the boil; add paste while stirring continuously. Bring sauce to the boil and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For 5L of sauce, use 500g of powder and 5L of milk.
For 10L of sauce, use 1kg powder (1 tub) and 10L milk.

Tips
• Use as a base for any white sauce
• Excellent in pastas, over seafood, chicken and vegetables, as well as in saucy dishes such as chicken a la king and hake
mornay.
• Use KNORR Basic White Sauce to spruce up side vegetables such as cauliflower and broccoli.
• For a creamier sauce, add a dash of MEADOWLAND Classique.
