French Onion Soup with Gruyere Toasties

Preparation
1. Place the Marvello in a pan large pot and fry the slice onions on a low heat until golden brown.
2. Add the garlic flakes, salt and pepper and sherry.
3. Simmer for 2 minutes and add the 2lt water.
4. Make a slurry using 500ml of water and the brown onion soup.
5. Add to the pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the parsley.
6. Slice and lightly toast the french bread.
7. Top with grated gruyere cheese, grill till melted and serve with the soup.
