Caramalised onion, pesto parmesan and toasted pinenut infused mash

| 1,125.00 | ml | Water |
| 10.00 | g | Salt |
| 500.00 | ml | Milk |
| 250.00 | g | KNORR Mash Flakes 1 x 2kg |
| 30.00 | ml | ROBERTSONS Pesto and Parmesan 6x1kg |
| 20.00 | g | Cheese, Parmesan grated |
| 20.00 | g | Pine nuts , toasted |
Preparation
1. heat the oil and saute the onions over medium heat until soft. add a knob of marvello, sugar and continue to cook until caramelised
2. Boil the water and salt together in a pot, swithch off the heat and stir in the cold milk
3. briskly stir in the mash flakes and the pesto and parmesan seasoning with a whisk, cover and stir again after 2-3 minutes
4.Stir in the caramelised onion, as well as the parmesan and toasted pinenuts.
5. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and a few extra pinenuts.
