3.00gBaking soda, bicarbonate
3.00gROBERTSONS Cinnamon 6 x 600g 
3.00gROBERTSONS Nutmeg 6 x 800g
5.00gROBERTSONS Mixed Spice 6 x 800g 
5.00mlVanilla extract / essence
8.00gSugar, Brown
200.00mlApple purée
2.00gCream of tartar
  THE ICING:
20.00gMARVELLO Full Fat Spread 30 x 500g 
  Icing sugar and water as required

Preparation

1. Beat eggs and sugar for 10 minutes.
2. Sift dry ingredients.
3. Add oil to egg mix and beat.
4. Add sifted dry ingredients and fold in.
5. Lastly, fold in apple and vanilla essence.
6. Pour into greased ring pan and bake at 180ºC for 50 minutes.

Icing:
1. Melt MARVELLO in the microwave.
2. Stir in the sugar and enough icing sugar and water to make a pourable icing.
3. Pour over cake.
