Simple Cottage Pie with Soya Extension

Preparation
1. In a medium pot, heat oil and fry onions until transluscent, add carrots, garlic and fry for 3-4 minutes.
2. Add half the cold water to the soya mince and leave to soak for 10 minutes(200ml)
3. Add the beef mince to the pan and allow to brown. Add the beef mince to the pan and allow to brown. Add soya mice to the pan of the mince and stir.
4. Add tomato pronto, blalance of water (200ml) and reduce to low haet. Allow mince to cook for about 10 minutes and stir occasionally. Season to taste.
5. Make up Kknorr mash as per pakage instructions and place in a piping bag.
6. Pour mince into a casserole or oven dish, pipe made up mash potato on top. Bake in oven for 5 minutes to dry out mash crust.
7. Brush mash with lightly beaten egg, and return to oven.
8. Bake for 15 minutes @ 180 deg cel. or until brown.
