Baked date delight with citrus custard

| 10.00 | ml | Vinegar, white local |
| 250.00 | g | Dates, dried |

| 5.00 | ml | ROBERTSONS Cinnamon 6 x 600g |
| 200.00 | ml | Orange juice, fresh |
| 350.00 | ml | Sugar |
| 50.00 | g | MARVELLO Full Fat Margerine |
| 250.00 | ml | Water |
Preparation
1. Place chopped dates in hot water; allow standing and mix to soften.
2. Beat the dry Carte d’Or multi purpose hot pudding mix and Robertsons Cinnamon with the milk and vinegar as per pack instructions.
3. Fold in the dates into the pudding mix.
4. Place the greased baking tray and bake in the oven, 180C for about 35minutes or until cooked.
Sauce:
5. Dissolve the sugar in the water, bring to the boil. Add the Marvello Full fat and melt. Stir in the orange juice.
6. When the tart comes out of the oven, pour the hot sauce over the tart and allow saturating.
7. Serve hot with citrus custard
