We buy around 12% of the world’s black tea supply, mainly for Lipton. By 2015, all of our Lipton and PG Tips tea bags will come from Rainforest AllianceTM certified farms. More than 80% of the tea we sell in Western Europe already does. And we’ve just launched Rainforest AllianceTM tea in the US, Japan and Australia.

In Kenya alone, around 38,000 small independent farms have been certified so far. We’ve invested in schools, colleges and hospitals close to tea plantations.
