Ingredients

The original:

  • Boiling water 100 ml
  • Ice cubes or crushed ice 100 g
  • 1 tea bag Lipton African Rooibos

The twist:

  • 10 ml Amaretto Syrup
  • 1 sprig of Mint (slightly bruised)
  • 1 slice of Red apple
  • 1 slice of Lemon

Your customised drink:

  • Sparkling water 60 ml

Preparation

  1. The original:

    • Steep 1 pyramid teabag for 4 to 5 minutes in 100 ml water (100 °C).
    • Add 100 g of ice cubes or crushed ice.
  2. The twist:

    • Add Amaretto Syrup (10 ml) after the tea has drawn.
    • Add 1 sprig of mint (slightly bruised), 1 slice of ginger, 1 slice of red apple and 1 lemon slice.
    • Leave the tea bag in the water.
  3. Your customised drink:

    • Add sparkling water (60 ml).
  4. Alternatively:

    • Instead of Amaretto Syrup, you can use ordinary sugar syrup or honey to taste and add to the mix with fresh lemon and apple slices.
