50.00mlROBERTSONS Seasoning Rub 4 X 700g
1.00kgAubergine
100.00mlOil, Sunflower
8.00pcBay leaves
20.00mlGarlic crushed
400.00mlWine, red dry
  1 kg Sweet Potato
800.00mlKNORR Mexican Salsa Sauce 6 x 2L 
400.00gOnions finely chopped
40.00mlROBERTSONS Paprika 6 x 700g 
30.00mlSugar
250.00mlWater boiling
5.00mlROBERTSONS Black Pepper 6 x 800g fine 

Preparation

1. Marinade: Mix togther the Ostrich/Beef/Chicken, Robertsons Rub, red wine, crushed garlic and bay leavesand leave to marinade for 30 minutes.
2. Saute the onions and paprika in oil for 1 minute on a pot.
3. Add the marinated ostrich/beef/chicken and allow to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring ocasionally with the pot lid on.
4. Add the sugar, Knorr Mexican Salsa, boiling water, aubergine, sweet potato, and black pepper and allow to simmer on low heat for 30-35 minutes or until the ostrich/beef/chicken is tender.
5. Correct the seasoning and serve with samp and mealies, rice or mashed potato.
