Irish stew with Dumplings

| Plain Flour Sifted 120g | ||
| 7.50 | ml | Baking powder |

| 250.00 | ml | Milk |
Preparation
1. Mix BBQ and flour together. Dust beef cubes in seasoned flour.
2. Heat Marvello in heavy based pot and brown meat. Remove meat with slotted spoon once browned.
3. Add vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes over high heat. Remove and set aside.
4. Place browned meat, water and Beef granules in pot and bring to simmer. Simmer till meat nearly soft.
5. Add back the sautéed vegetables and simmer till meat and vegetables ¾ done.
6. Thicken stew slightly if needed with Brown roux.
7. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Dumplings
8. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Rub Marvello into flour mix with hands.
9. Gradually add milk and mix till smooth.
10. Place balls of dumpling dough on top of stew. Replace lid.
11. Continue simmering the stew until dumplings are cooked and meat soft.
