  • Sunflower oil 60.0 ml
  • 2 kg Chicken drumsticks
  • 80 g Green pepper (deseeded and sliced)
  • 80 g Yellow pepper (deseeded and sliced)
  • 80 g Red pepper (deseeded and sliced)
  • Knorr Aromat Naturally Tasty 12.0 g
  • Water 600.0 ml
  • Lemons (cut into quarters) 160.0 g
  • Bay leaves 3.0 pc
  • Parsley (finely chopped) 2.0 g
  1. Method:

    • Pre-heat the oven to 200 °C.
    • Mix the Knorr Chicken Stock Granules with 15 ml oil and rub the chicken drumsticks. Place the drumsticks on a roasting tray and bake for 10 min until browned.
    • Add the rest of the ingredients (except for the Knorr Brown Roux Granules and the parsley) to the chicken. Reduce the temperature to 180 °C and bake for another 30 min.
    • Add the Knorr Brown Roux Granules and bake for 5 min.
    • Remove the bay leaves and lemon quarters and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
  2. Chef's Tip:

    • When roasting the drumsticks, turn after 5 min to ensure even golden colour is achieved.
    • Protein option: Chicken thighs or fish can also be used.
