To Prep:

  • 1kg Beef
  • Onions 85.0 g
  • Garlic 12.0 g
  • Carrots (diced) 370.0 g
  • Potatoes 400.0 g
  • Parsley, fresh, chopped 4.0 g

To Cook:

  • Oil, Sunflower 40.0 ml
  • Tomato paste 25.0 g
  • Water (hot) 1.25 l
  • Butter 12.0 g
  1. To Prep:

    • Cube the beef.
    • Finely dice the onions.
    • Crush the garlic.
    • Slice the carrots diagonally.
    • Quarter the potatoes.
    • Finely chop the parsley.
  2. To Cook:

    • In a large pot, heat the oil and butter over medium heat. Add the beef, and cook until golden brown.
    • Add the onions to the pot, stir and cook for 2 – 3 minutes until softened. Then add the garlic, and cook for another minute.
    • Add the Robertsons Paprika, and stir well.
    • Add the tomato paste, and cook for 1 minute.
    • Pour in the Knorr Tomato Pronto, Knorr Beef Stock Granules and water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 hour.
    • Add the chopped carrots and potatoes, then cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
    • Stir in the parsley.
  3. To Serve:

    • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.

  5. Top Tip:

    • Serve with steamed dumplings or rice. You can finish off cooking the stew in the oven.
