These flavourful deep-fried chicken gizzards are a must-have on your menu! Made with Knorr Original Chicken Breading for the perfect crunchy and consistently tender gizzards served with chips and a roll.

Preparation

  1. Method:

    1. In a pot, add gizzards and water to cover and bring to boil. Simmer for one hour and remove from heat, strain and plunge into cold water.
    2. Pre-heat oil in the deep fryer to 180 °C. In batches, roll the gizzards in the Knorr Professional Original Chicken Breading (10/7/10) - roll 10 times, pat 7 times and roll 10 times.
    3. Shake off excess breading and deep-fry gizzards for 5-6 min or until golden brown.
  2. Chefs Tip:

    • Serve with samp and bean or pap.
