  • Fresh coriander (roughly chopped) 20 g

Preparation

  1. Preparation:

    • In a saucepan, sauté the onion in the oil until soft and translucent.
    • Add the garlic and jalapeño. Cook for a further 2 min.
    • Add the spices and seasonings. Cook for a further 1 min.
    • Add the Knorr Tomato Pronto and allow to simmer slowly until reduced by half.
    • Lastly toss through the fresh coriander.
  2. Chefs Note:

    • Great to have this as a staple in the fridge. It is the base sauce for many dishes. Think of it as the red béchamel for Mexican cuisine.
