  • Onions 389.0 g
  • Oil 30.0 ml
  • Fresh garlic (finely chopped) 10.0 g
  • Jalape√Īos (fresh, chopped) 15.0 g
  • Knorr Aromat Naturally Tasty 15.0 g
  • Cumin (ground) 10.0 g
  • Fresh coriander (roughly chopped) 20.0 g
  1. Preparation:

    • In a saucepan, saut√© the onion in the oil until soft and translucent.
    • Add the garlic and jalape√Īo. Cook for a further 2 min.
    • Add the spices and seasonings. Cook for a further 1 min.
    • Add the Knorr Tomato Pronto and allow to simmer slowly until reduced by half.
    • Lastly toss through the fresh coriander.
  2. Chefs Note:

    • Great to have this as a staple in the fridge. It is the base sauce for many dishes. Think of it as the red b√©chamel for Mexican cuisine.
