- In a saucepan, sauté the onion in the oil until soft and translucent.
- Add the garlic and jalapeño. Cook for a further 2 min.
- Add the spices and seasonings. Cook for a further 1 min.
- Add the Knorr Tomato Pronto and allow to simmer slowly until reduced by half.
- Lastly toss through the fresh coriander.
- Great to have this as a staple in the fridge. It is the base sauce for many dishes. Think of it as the red béchamel for Mexican cuisine.
