Spicy chicken livers in a creamy hot sauce and topped with the perfect slap chips in a quarter loaf of bread for that burst of flavour and comfort.

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    • Clean the chicken livers. Slice the onions.
    • Heat the oil and fry the onions. Mix the chicken livers and the spicy breading together and add them to fried onions.
  2. Step 2

    • Cut the bread loaves in half and pull out the soft centres. Set aside.
    • Add the Robertsons Chicken Spice and cold water and allow to cook through for 20 - 30 min until the chicken livers are cooked. Remove from heat and set aside. Slice the loaves of bread in half, remove the soft centres and add these to the chicken livers and mix through.
  3. Step 3

    • To assemble: Spoon the chicken livers into the hollowed-out bread followed by the fried chips (seasoned with Robertsons Chip & Potato Seasoning) and serve in a grab-and-go container.
  4. Chef's Tip

    • Replace the spicy chicken livers with strips of fried chicken coated in Knorr Professional Spicy Chicken breading with sweet chili sauce and chips.
  5. Hint!
