Tender chicken leg quarters bursting with flavour, featuring a delicious white barbeque sauce and a chipotle rub of mixed spices.

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    • In a pot, add 60g Knorr Professional Chicken Stock Granules to water, mix well and bring to the boil. Add the chicken leg quarters and cook for approximately 15 min.
  2. Step 2

    • Remove the chicken quarters from the pot and allow to drain off excess liquid. 
  3. Step 3

    • For the Chipotle Rub: Combine 7g Robertsons veggie seasoning, 10g Robertsons chicken spice, 2g Robertsons cayenne pepper, 8g Robertsons paprika and 45ml olive oil. mix till well combined.
    • Brush over the chicken 
  4. Step 4

    • Place the chicken on a grill or in an oven tray and roast at 180c for 5 minutes, then turn and roast again for further 5 minutes. More time can be added to crisp up the skin.
  5. Step 5

    • For the White Barbeque Sauce: Combine 200g Hellman's tangy mayonnaise, 50ml water, 3g Robertsons black pepper, 2g Robertsons Paprika, 15ml Lemon juice and 4g Knorr Aromat Original. Mix till combine. serve with the grilled chicken quarters.
