  1. Step 1:

    • Pre-heat the oven to 160 °C. Combine the maize meal, Knorr Chicken Stock Granules and cold water in a pot. Bring the maize-meal mix to the boil, reduce to a medium heat and keep stirring and cook for 30 min. Once cooked, remove from the heat and set aside.
  2. Step 2:

    • Finely chop the onion. Heat oil in a pan, fry the onions for 1 min. Add the Robertsons Veggie Seasoning and Knorr Tomato Pronto to the onions, cook for 1 min. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  3. Step 3:

    • Grate the cheddar cheese. Grease a half insert, pour the maize meal into the insert, followed by the tomato mixture and lastly the cheese.
  4. Step 4:

    • Bake for 15 min, remove from the oven and serve.
  5. Hint:

    • Save time by prepping all the recipe ingredients beforehand.
  6. Chef's Tip:

    • Add cooked bacon to the mix for extra flavour.
