  • 50ml Vegetable oil
  • 200g Red Onion (sliced)
  • 150g Brown Onions (chopped)


  • 10 slices Halloumi Cheese

Lamb Patty:

  • Lamb, minced 1.2 kg
  • 300g Lamb Sausage Meat
  • Dijon mustard 50.0 g
  • Black pepper (ground) 20.0 g


  1. Onion:

    • Preheat oil in a frying pan, then pan-fry red onion until translucent. Remove then set aside.
    • In the same pan, lightly fry the brown onions until golden brown- keep hot.
  2. Cheese:

    • Pan-fry the cheese until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Lamb Patty:

    • Combine the lamb mince, lamb sausage meat, cooked onions, Dijon mustard and pepper, then mix well.
    • Shape the lamb mince mixture into (160g) burger patties, then cook.
  4. Burger:

    • Assemble the burger in the following order- toasted bottom burger bun, Hellmann's Original Mayonnaise, rocket, lamb patty, halloumi cheese, onions, napolitana sauce and top burger bun. Serve with freshly cooked shoestring fries.
