  • 125 G Popcorn Kernels
  • Oil 60.0 ml
  • Butter 125.0 g
  • Sugar 180.0 g
  • Honey 30.0 g
  • Salt 3.0 g
  • As Required Coarse Ground Salt


  1. Method:

    • Pre-heat the oven to 110 °C. Pop the kernels in the oil and set aside. In a saucepan bring the butter, sugar, honey and salt together until all the sugar has dissolved and the mixture turns golden brown.
    • Pour the caramel over the popcorn and coat evenly. Spread the caramel popcorn on a baking tray and sprinkle with extra sea salt. Bake for 1 hour (tossing 3 times). Remove and set aside to cool. Break into pieces once cooled.
