  • Cabbage (sliced) 600.0 g
  • Onions (minced, fine dice) 100.0 g
  • Butter 40.0 g
  • Light beer 125.0 ml
  • Whole grain mustard 10.0 g
  • Fresh thyme (finely chopped) 2.0 g
  • Apple cider vinegar 15.0 ml

Perfectly cooked cabbage brought to life with a consistent BBQ smoky flavour, beer, mustard and thyme.

Preparation

  1. Method

    1. In a large pan melt the butter, add onion and cook until soft on medium heat, about 5 min.
    2. Stir in the beer, mustard, Robertsons Barbecue Spice and thyme. Lower the heat and simmer for 2 min.
    3. Stir-in the cabbage and vinegar. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally until cabbage is wilted and tender, about 8 min, and serve.
