  • Stewing beef 2.0 kg
  • Oil 25.0 ml
  • Onions (thinly sliced) 100.0 g
  • Leeks (finely sliced) 100.0 g
  • Turnips, chopped 100.0 g
  • Celery with leaves, sliced 50.0 g
  • Carrots 100.0 g
  • Parsley (roughly chopped) 7.0 g
  • Dry soup mix 250.0 g
  • Red kidney beans 125.0 g
  • Water 2.5 l

This wholesome and hearty beef soup is made with Knorr Professional Jus – the perfect base brown sauce and stew thickener. Change it up with different veggies and add your unique touch!

Preparation

  1. Method

    1. Brown the beef at 200°C for 15 min.
    2. Heat oil in a pot, sauté onions and all the vegetables for 2 min.
    3. Add water, beef, dry soup mix, beans and bring to boil. Simmer until the beef is cooked.
    4. Mix Knorr Professional Jus and water together.
    5. Add to the soup and simmer for 5 min.
  2. Chef Tip

    • You can substitute Knorr Professional Jus with Hearty Beef, Oxtail or Brown Onion Soup.
