Sauce:

Wings:

  • Chicken wings 1.0 kg
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Spring onion (thinly sliced) 20.0 g

The perfect balance of sweet and slightly spicy, these chicken wings are enhanced with the tangy flavour kick of Knorr Professional Peri-Peri Marinade. Top it all off with sesame seeds and scallions.

Preparation

  1. Sauce:

    • Combine the Knorr Professional Honey & Soy Sauce, Knorr Professional Peri-Peri Marinade and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 min. Remove from the heat, add sesame seeds and hold warm until needed.
  2. Wings:

    • Pre-heat oven to 180 °C.
    • Roast the wings in the oven for 30 min.
    • Fry the wings in a shallow pot or deep fryer until crisp. Toss with enough sauce to coat. Garnish with sliced scallions and serve.
  3. Chef’s Tip:

    • To achieve a crunchier texture, crumb the wings with the Knorr Professional Original Chicken Breading before frying.
