  • Baking powder 5.0 ml
  • Sunflower oil 80.0 ml

Preparation

  1. Preparation:

    • Sift 375g Yellow maize flour, 10g Knorr Aromat Original and 5ml Baking Powder together.
    • In a mixer, add the oil and warm water to the sifted dry ingredients. Mix for 3 minutes on low, then on 2 minutes on medium until a dough is formed.
    • Knead the dough for 10 min to form a soft smooth ball.
    • Roll out to 2 mm thin and fry in a hot pan.
  2. Chef's Note:

    • The yellow maize flour can be substituted with white maize flour, producing a white soft tortilla.
