Spiced up Squid

Ribbon, cucumber, coriander, basil & rocket salad

  • 100g Baby Cucumber Thinly Sliced Length Ways
  • Rocket leaves (fresh) 80.0 g
  • Coriander, fresh, chopped for garnish 12.0 g
  • Basil Leaves 10.0 g
  • Olive oil 10.0 ml
  • Lime juice 5.0 ml

This delicate Asian inspired hot squid recipe is served with a balance of Peppery salad leaves.

Preparation

  1. Spiced up Squid

    • Heat sesame oil until hot, add the chilies- deseeded and julienne sliced, ginger and toast through the sesame oil.
    • Add the calamari and flash fry until color develops, followed by the Knorr sweet chilli sauce and Knorr honey and soy sauce and fry tossing at all times for about 1 minute.
    • Remove from the heat and serve immediately. Best served warm with the salad ingredients and made to serve.
  2. Ribbon, cucumber, coriander, basil & rocket salad

    • Toss all the salad ingredients together.
