Vegan Pattie Ingredients:


A flavour-packed vegan patty made from brown rice, toasted walnuts, and panko breadcrumbs served on a bun and topped with a traditional burger sauce.

Preparation

  1. Method:

    1. Add 150g Brown rice, 20g Knorr Professional Vegetable Stock Granules and water to a pot.
    2. Bring to the boil and simmer until cooked. 
    3. Remove from the heat, rinse and drain under cold water. 
  2. Vegan Pattie Ingredients:

    1. In an electric mixer, add red onions, red kidney beans, cumin, 2g Robertsons smoked paprika, walnuts, panko crumbs and blend together until coarse.
    2. Add rice and blend until well combined.
    3. Mould into Pattie shapes and refrigerate for 30 min.
    4. Fry the patties until brown on each side, remove and set aside. 
    5. Baste with 100g Knorr Professional Hamburger Sauce on each pattie.
  3. Chef’s Tip:

    Serve with Tzatziki, wholewheat roll, lettuce, and tomato slices with Knorr Professional Hamburger Sauce.
