To Prep:

  • Streaky bacon 250.0 g
  • Potatoes, baby 1.0 kg
  • Onions, red 100.0 g
  • Pickled jalapenos 50.0 g
  • Chives 15.0 g
  • Cheese, Cheddar 100.0 g

To Cook:


  1. To Prep:

    30 minutes
    • Finely chop the streaky bacon.
    • Cut the potatoes in half.
    • Finely chop the red onions.
    • Slice the jalapenos.
    • Grate the cheddar cheese.
  2. To Cook:

    20 minutes
    • In a pan, dry fry the streaky bacon until crispy, remove from the pan and drain the fat.
    • Boil the potatoes until cooked, drain the water and set aside to cool.
    • Mix together all the ingredients until well-combined.
  3. To Serve:

    • Serve with roasted chicken, gammon or turkey.
  4. Top Tip:

    • Replace the jalapenos with peppadews to make your own potato salad less spicy. It is best served alongside roast chicken.
