Burgers

  • Beef burger patties 10.0 whole
  • Burger buns 10.0 whole
  • Cheddar cheese slices (200 g) 10.0 slices
  • Streaky bacon slices, or bacon of your choice (500 g), cooked crispy 20.0 slices
  • Onions, sliced into rings and caramelised 300.0 g
  • Frozen chips 1.0 kg

Add a twist to your beef burgers with creamy mac and cheese with an authentic smoky BBQ mayo made with the classic Hellmann’s Original Mayonnaise!

Preparation

  1. BBQ Mayonnaise

    1. In a bowl, mix together Hellmann’s Original Mayonnaise and Fine Foods Barbecue Sauce.
  2. Mac & Cheese

    1. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onions and garlic, then add the Robertsons Veggie Seasoning. 
    2. Whisk together the Knorr Professional White Sauce Base and milk and then add it into the onion mixture. Allow the sauce to thicken, stirring continuously. 
    3. Remove from the heat and stir in the grated cheddar cheese and then cooked macaroni.
  3. Burgers

    1. Grill the beef patties until cooked. 
    2. Spread 15 ml of the prepared BBQ mayonnaise on each side of the bun, then add the grilled beef patty, ¼ cup mac & cheese, 1 slice of cheese, 2 slices of grilled bacon, and caramelised onion. 
    3. Serve with fried chips sprinkled with Robertsons Chip & Potato Seasoning.
  4. Chef’s Tip:

    1. Swap out the beef patty for chicken.
