Pita Bread:

  • Bread, pita 1 pc

Salad Ingredients:

  • Beans, Black-eye 50 g
  • Pepper, red 25 g
  • Onions, red 30 g
  • Onions, spring 10 g
  • Coriander, fresh, chopped for garnish 10 g
  • Corn on the cob 1 pc

East African Dressing:

  1. Pita Bread:

    • Place pita on hot griddle pan to get marking on the pita and warm through.
    • Cut into triangles.
  2. Salad Ingredients:

    • Soak the beans in cold water for a minimum of 3 hours. Rinse and them boil in water for 30 minutes or until cooked yet tender. Rinse.
    • Mix all the salad ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. East African Dressing:

    • Combine all the dressing ingredients together and set aside.
  4. To assemble:

    • Mix The Hellmanns East African Dressing through the salad.
    • Place in a bowl.
    • Place pita pocket around the inside rim of the bowl.
