Preparation

  1. Method:

    • Mix Knorr Professional Mash Flakes (40 g) and sesame seeds together and set aside for coating.
    • In a pot, bring water, butter and Robertsons Veggie Seasoning to the boil and then remove from stove.
    • Add milk then whisk in the Knorr Professional Mash Flakes (50 g). Cover for 4-5 min.
    • Add Hellmann's Tangy Mayonnaise, onions, gherkins and ham and mix well. Chill for 20 min.
    • Roll into 20 g balls and toss balls in beaten egg, then Knorr Professional Mash Flakes and sesame mix to coat.
    • Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  2. Chef's Tip:

    For a vegetarian option, replace the ham with chopped fried mushrooms.
