Ingredients

Savoury Scone

  • Self raising flour 500 ml
  • Cheese, Cheddar 500 ml
  • Robertsons Cayenne Pepper
    Robertsons Cayenne Pepper
    2 ml
    Added to cart: Robertsons Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt to season
  • Milk 250 ml
  • Oil, Sunflower 125 ml

To serve:

  • 2tsp Bovril or Marmite
  • Butter 120 g

Preparation

  1. Savoury Scone

    • Mix the milk and oil into the dry ingredients and fold till incorporated.
    • Pat out and cut into rounds using scone cutter.
    • Bake at 200°C for 10-15 minutes.
  2. To serve:

    • Melt thebutter and Bovril over heat and spoon over the hot scones and allow to cool.
    • Serve with coriander and chilli jam.
