Savoury Scone

  • Self raising flour 500.0 ml
  • Cheese, Cheddar 500.0 ml
  • Milk 250.0 ml
  • Oil, Sunflower 125.0 ml
  • Salt 1.0 tsp

To serve:

  • Butter 120.0 g
  • Bovril or Marmite 2.0 tsp
  1. Savoury Scone

    • Mix the milk and oil into the dry ingredients and fold till incorporated.
    • Pat out and cut into rounds using scone cutter.
    • Bake at 200°C for 10-15 minutes.
  2. To serve:

    • Melt thebutter and Bovril over heat and spoon over the hot scones and allow to cool.
    • Serve with coriander and chilli jam.
