  • 4 kg Ox/ Sheep Tripe (cleaned and washed)
  • Water 5 l

Step 2:

  • Oil 100 g
  • Onion (chopped) 400 g

  • Green peppers (diced) 300 g
  • Potatoes (diced) 1 kg
  • Carrots (diced) 500 g

Preparation

  1. Step 1:

    • Place the marinaded tripe into a pot with the 5 L of water and bring to the boil, reduce to a medium simmer and cook for 2 hours with lid on. Remove the cooked tripe from the water and keep 1.5 L of the liquid. Cut the cooked tripe into pieces and set aside.
  2. Step 2:

    • Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onions, Robertsons Veggie Seasoning, Robertsons Rajah Medium Curry Powder and peppers for 2 min. Add the tripe and the remaining liquid and cook for another hour. Add the potatoes, carrots and Knorr Aromat Original and cook for 20-30 min.
  3. Step 3:

    • Remove from the heat and serve.
  4. Chef's Tip:

    • The tripe can be replaced with pigs trotters.
