Chakalaka Bean Salad
Beans are a cheap and satisfying meal, especially when mixed with chakalaka!
- Drain the liquid from the tins of beans.
- Finely chop the onion.
- Roughly chop the coriander.
- Mix together all the ingredients.
- Allow to stand for 30 min before serving.
- Save time by planning your side dishes with your proteins so as to avoid wastage.
- Add some roughly chopped red chilli for some extra heat. Or add red kidney beans to vary the flavour.
