Ingredients

Step 1:

  • 800 g (2 tins) Butter beans
  • 850 g (2 tins) Green beans

Step 2:

  • Onion 100 g
  • Coriander 20 g

Step 3:

  • 800 g (2 tins) Chakalaka baked beans in tomato sauce

Preparation

  1. Step 1:

    • Drain the liquid from the tins of beans.
  2. Step 2:

    • Finely chop the onion.
    • Roughly chop the coriander.
  3. Step 3:

    • Mix together all the ingredients.
    • Allow to stand for 30 min before serving.
  4. Hint:

    • Save time by planning your side dishes with your proteins so as to avoid wastage.
  5. Chef's Tip:

    • Add some roughly chopped red chilli for some extra heat. Or add red kidney beans to vary the flavour.
