These fries offer a lighter, crispier alternative to the traditional potato side that diners will find irresistible. Crispy, golden-brown zucchini batons dipped in a light tempura batter seasoned with Robertsons Veggie Seasoning make for an irresistible side dish. Preparation

  1. Method

    1. For the tempura batter: Combine all ingredients (except for the zucchini) together using a whisk. Use enough water to ensure a slightly runny batter. 
    2. Pre-heat a deep fryer to 180°C. Dip the zucchini into the wet batter and deep fry. Do not overcrowd the deep fryer. Once ready, it should float and have a light brown colour. Take it out and dry it on a paper towel before serving in a mini-basket.
  2. Recipe Tip

    Knorr Professional Sweet Chilli Sauce can be used as an accompaniment.
